Round Dining Room Tables

I love round dining room tables. I love the fact conversation can flow so easily around a round table.

How do you feel about round dining tables? Have you ever thought about using a round table in the dining room?

    and for that very reason, we have and always have had a round table in our kitchen...promotes convo. Gotta love it.

    i love a nice round table, but i also love the long farmhouse style tables!!!

    we just have a cheep ikea table right now, but eventually i want a long farmhouse table with chairs on one side, a bench on the other and two fabric covered chairs on the ends...

    ps: i want those yellow chairs from housebeautiful but i would put them with the table from the 1st picture!

    I never thought about it for our dining room only we got a round one for our kitchen nook area and I am loving it! I like how it brings everyone together.

    I grew up with a large round dining room table -- they're great for conversations as everyone can see everyone. For some reason, I'm more drawn to long farm tables.

    I'm really digging this post! I love round tables with a leaf that pulls out to make an oval...because I love extra guests! We had one for the longest and I, in my infinite (*coughs) wisdom, got rid of it...and regret it deeply. Would like a small one for in our living room/bar area with 2 comfy chairs and 2 matching standard chairs that could be added. I want it to be a reading/coffee/drinks table with the ability to use as a dining table by adding two extra, slightly smaller chairs.

    I have a round dining room table. And it's fine, but I do find that it is a bit more difficult to find table cloths to it though.

    My parents had a round dining room table when I was growing up and I loved when the whole family would gather around it. Sadly, they moved into a house where the table wouldn't work and instead of giving it to me they sold it!
