Weekend Recap and The New Face of The Mustard Ceiling

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. We did. Saturday, the temperature warmed up to the mid-fifties. After being cooped up inside all week, the hubby and I decided to take the dogs hiking in Palo Duro Canyon (just outside of Amarillo,Tx). It was a beautiful hike and so nice to get outside after staying in all week.

Sunday it started to snow again and the hubby had to work. I took the opportunity to pound away at my computer all day. Finally, I came up with the new face for The Mustard Ceiling....I am still working out a few of the kinks, but hopefully it will be officially finished soon!

I can't wait to be finished with the blog design so I can finally feel like I am a part of 2011. I feel like I have been glued to my computer working on this design constantly since the beginning of January. Fortunately, I have learned ALOT about photoshop and blog designing. However, I am ready to start tackling my 2011 list of projects for the house.

    Cute pix from your hike! AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new blog design. Now, call me and lets meet for a coffee soon...you need to look at something other than your computer screen for an hr or two!

    Please share...HOW did you learn about blog design? Do you have any resouces and/or tutorials you could recommend?!

    I detest the look of my blog, and I am a very visual person. However, I don't want to pay for a blog re-design...I'd love to be able to do it myself. {help!}

    Thanks for stopping by! You are brave to tackle blog design...I would like to learn but didn't have the time to right now. I had some one do it went live yesterday!
