I hope you all had an amazing LONG weekend!
I really hope Blogger is cooperating today. I have had a few emails over the weekend, and into yesterday afternoon, that many of you were not able to post comments on the blog. I am sorry! I hope it is fixed. I have missed your comments!
We skipped last week's BAM or SLAM to bring you this awesome giveaway from Radiance from Ruins. Today is the last day to enter, so don't forget.
So two weeks ago, on BAM or SLAM we voted on Faux Taxidermy...

Definitely a BAM. : )
ReplyDeleteBam Bam Bam! Its back with a vengeance! Love the look!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet blog visit! Hope you had a nice weekend
BAM! Just found these amazing brass lamps at the thrift shop for $25 for two!
ReplyDeleteBrass as an accent - definitely a yes! I prefer antiqued brass - tarnished as opposed to shiny. Interesting post, thank you!
ReplyDeleteBAM! (but in small doses)
ReplyDeleteTotal BAM! It is such a warm metal and a nice distraction from the nickel and oil rubbed bronze we have been seing for years.
ReplyDeleteI can take it or leave it--I'm not crazy about it, I don't dislike it.
ReplyDeleteI guess it depends on what it is!

Bam for obvious. But it has to be good vintage brass... not the crappy shiny stuff from the 80's.
ReplyDeleteBAM from me. I'm in LOVE with that faucet!!!
ReplyDelete*B*A*M* fo' sheezy! In fact, let me say it again for effect: BAM! Seriously, who could deny it after seeing those amazing inspiration pics? Fabulousness at it's best (c:
ReplyDeleteBam, but in small doses for me! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...I have just started replacing ALL my brass fixtures with ORB. I have had brass (or fake gold) everywhere for my whole life. I'm ready for a change but who would have thought the old gold would ever come back? Great post...
ReplyDeleteI love this series!!! B to the A M! I love it. It reminds me of chic hotel lobbies and it is very warm. I agree with Allison, though, about small doses.
ReplyDeleteBrass is a BAM for me (although I don't think I have a single itty bitty brass accessory in my home). Must change that.
ReplyDeleteI say BAM! I love this series! I honestly don't think it ever really went out just that it wasn't trendy for a while. I do think though that is depends on the brass as to whether it's good or bad.
ReplyDeleteBAM! I love it...love the photo of the slightly tarnished photo. I just discovered your blog, what a fun series!
ReplyDeleteBam-Bam but I like it all mixed- but organized ie. all knobs and hinges pewter but with a gold table lamp- It's okay to mix- agree?
ReplyDeleteBam! Unless it's cheap tacky and gross haha
ReplyDeleteLoving the antiqued brass...total BAM for me!
ReplyDeleteIf you would have asked me a month ago I would have said slam but.... I now BAM!!! I am loving the warm metal tone mixed with other modern finishes!! Defiantly back!
ReplyDeleteTiffany {Living Savvy}
BAM! So long as it's not the bad shiny gold from the 1980s!
ReplyDeleteBAM! Now if I could only convince my clients....
ReplyDeleteBig big BAM! I love the mirror and the chandeliers. I just bought a mirror in a brass finish.
ReplyDeleteBAM BABY! This time round it seems less gaudy and bling, bling. Most of it has such a nice patina to it, and it is used in small doses so to me it looks much better than before!
