Tell Me Tuesday...Bam or Slam!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! I know I did.
The fireworks were incredible, the barbecue delicious..it doesn't get much better than that.


I've missed you guys. I took the week off to finish up some projects and relax
(there really was not a lot of relaxing going on, but I did finish up some projects)...and

Today, it's time to BAM or SLAM!

Last week we debated zebra rugs. It was a close one, but in the end BAM,
they're a hit (19 to 12)!

The BAM or SLAM this week has been around for awhile.

SUNBURST MIRRORS

I've seen them made of brass, mirrors, driftwood, paint sticks
you name it a sunburst mirror has been made with it...

so today I want to know if you're still lovin' it!

    this is such a fun series!

    I'd say slam.. but just because I never really got on the wagon to begin with=)
    But I do like the driftwood mirror and the mirror from belle maison!

    still a bam for me, too! i don't care for the ones that try to look stellar- like actual sunrays, but i love the overall shape and effect of the more modern looking ones!

    Bam! I love them because people are coming up with their own versions and trying different colors/textures and they aren't all gold or silver.

    I know this is a very popular thing...sunburst mirrors, but I don't ge the attraction. I will probably be the only slam you will get.

    I'm going to say bam! They add such interest and character to a room plus they are so varied in style that I think they're a classic fixture in design.

    Still love the look but like so many trends it is getting close to being overdone i.e. every home you walk into has a sunburst mirror of some sort..I am looking forward to the next wall trend..gonna give this one a bam

    I'm going to give you a challenge for the next Bam or Slam...I think you should put up something really controversial so I can read everybody "duking it out" (c: hehehe...I'm all about the entertainment factor! This is so funny coming from someone who really doesn't even like reality TV because of the controversy...I'm such a hypocrite! Okay, but this one is definitely a bam for me (you thought I would never get to the point, huh?)...especially the all mirrored ones...they are like a gorgeous jewel in a room and I'm all about the glitz factor (c;

    Although I do like them in most rooms I see I think it's still a SLAM for me because they are used everywhere! I love mirrors, but I'm leaning more toward enormous floor mirrors, or gorgeous ornate antique mirrors, or even porthole mirrors. Just something different I guess!

    I have to agree with Anna... SLAM. They are way overused. To be fair, I've never gotten on board with them in the first place. Although that driftwood number is pretty fabulous.
