Wow! It was close last week....18 BAM'S and 13 SLAM'S
(and a few could take them or leave them).
I learned something new Target and Homegood's have some great one's for a reasonable price...so if you're in the market, maybe you'll get lucky.

Are you a fan?
BAM or SLAM!?
Are you a fan?
BAM or SLAM!?
Definitely BAM if it's only one item in the room - that keeps it looking chic :)
ReplyDeleteWe are loving accents of leopard! I don't see this one going out of style anytime soon!

Bam - it's a classic!
ReplyDeleteBAM! For sure, one wow leopard piece in a room really makes it special. Especially when mixed with otherwise traditional spaces...a shot of cool!
ReplyDeleteBAM - it's a classic pattern!
ReplyDeleteI'm either way! I love it on shoes!
ReplyDeletei used to love it.... when i was in college, so that was about 11-15 years ago. now though, nope. i might be the only one, but for me it is a slam. i prefer zebra prints much more.
ReplyDeleteBam:)
ReplyDeleteSlam... I think I'm just over it.
ReplyDeleteI'm torn...but I have to go with Slam.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to say a tentative Bam. In VERY SMALL doses it can be a chic little accent. This is definitely a case of there can be too much of a good thing.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree that its good in small amounts...if done in a tasteful way then BAM !

I'm with Lily, it's a BAM if done in small doses. Whether it's something for the house or something you wear I'm of the belief that too much looks tacky, not chic.
ReplyDeleteIt is a personal slam for me; as in I wouldn't have it in my personal space, but I can see it's merits in small doses in other peoples spaces.
ReplyDeleteTo echo Karen and Lily, I say BAM if leopard is used in limited quantities. Too much of a good thing can be frightening!
ReplyDeleteIn the right amount, definitely a BAM.
ReplyDeleteNot even teetering on this one (as I have the past few weeks), this is a SLAM for me in the home. I do love it in a cute ballet flat but not in the home.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Syndal, a little bit of leopard goes a long way, but it's a bam for me. I don't think a good animal print ever goes out of style!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Lori

Bam! Definitely adds a touch of sophistication to a room.
ReplyDeleteSlam... I'm over leopard.
ReplyDeleteI have never personally been a fan of it but I do appreciate other people's love of (need for) it. I would go with Slam!
ReplyDeleteMeant to add - I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award today :)
ReplyDeleteDefinite SLAM for me. I think most uses of leopard are very tacky. Pretty certain I had a snap on bracelet in leopard back in elementary.

In small doses it's a bam for me.
ReplyDeleteHey Elizabeth - I've got a bam or slam idea for you: cowhide rugs. They seem super popular, but a definite slam for me. I'm curious what other people think.
ReplyDeleteBam! Any animal print done well is a winner! But it cannot be teamed with tacky red velour/gold/crystal table lamps! Lol.
ReplyDeleteslam.....I am just not a fan of leopard, I think there are much classier animal prints.
ReplyDeleteI'm personally not a fan, so slam for me. I guess it might be okay in small doses, maybe, (I think it works in that green couch photo) but it still just reminds me of women who run around well past their prime in super short skirts and, well, leopard print tube tops. Ack.
ReplyDeleteZebra prints, on the other hand, I love in small doses. Maybe because I've never seen a zebra tube top on a fake baked grandmother? :)
As an accent piece, definitely BAM!! Normally I would slam a leopard carpet, until I saw that last photo...I die! The combo of leopard rug and floral wallpaper is so unique but works.

Slam for me. Cant see it in my house. I love those chairs though!
ReplyDeleteBAM - classic!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! BAM definitely. But just a touch.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the fence. I've seen it look amazing but I just can't see it in the every day (non New York penthouse living) house. Put me down for undecided!
ReplyDeletetotal BAM. i'm really growing to accept my inner eccentric septuagenarian. her name is viv, she drinks sidecars, and she approves.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely a BAM-BAM-BAM!
ReplyDeleteCatherine
I have to say SLAM. ;( But only in my own home. I don't know why, but for some reason leopard just doesn't do it for me. When I see it done tastefully in another home, though, I can usually give it a BAM. It's a personal preference I guess!!
ReplyDeleteSlam. I think leopard prints "cheapen" a room.
ReplyDeleteBAM only in small small amounts. SLAM if it looks like the jungle-love-shack.
ReplyDeleteand total BAM in your wardrobe too (shoes or a belt) SLAM if you look like a Josie and the Pussy-cats (remember them?)
I will always love leopard so total BAM for me!! Love the stair runner!
ReplyDeleteI have always thought there was room for a little leopard sprinkled around!
