Roomspiration: Featured Laundry Rooms

I hope you all had a terrific weekend!

I must admit, it went by way too fast for me. I've been off schedule all week since the hubby and I took a couple days off in the middle of last week to celebrate our anniversary.

Thank you all for such sweet anniversary wishes. It truly amazes me how wonderful and supportive this blogging community is, I always enjoy receiving your comments on the blog.

Today, the hostesses of the Roomspiration party wanted to get together on our blogs and share a few of the rooms linked up. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting all of the laundry room/mudrooms you linked up- it never ceases to amaze me the talent in blogland...

Let's show off a few, shall we?

The first featured laundry room is by Jennifer at Dimples and Tangles. Jennifer designed everything around the fabulous coral chandelier in the photo. She originally purchased it at a thrift store, gave it an awesome makeover and it set the tone for the whole redesign, check out the rest of the project here.

Next up is a project after my own heart. Michelle from Decor And The Dog linked up the remodel of her mudroom. First of all I love the tall board and batten and the built-in bench, but what I love most about this room is how Michelle and Nate (her husband) built the room with Ike, their wire fox terrier in mind. I have to admit, I am a sucker for stripes. Stripes always seem to be the right answer to a room. They add interest and pattern, but still act as a neutral. This laundry room caught my attention from the moment I saw the thumbnail linked up.

This remodel started with a broken drier belt and ended up fun and chic. Head on over to My Old Country House for more details.

I love the blue and white horizontal stripes, paired with the turquoise door and touches of pink.

Finally, one last room to share. It is amazing what a little paint can do to brighten up a room. Marci, from Timber and Lace, simply painted the inside of the mudroom door a bright, sunny yellow and it really brightened up the room and made it pop.

Sometimes the smallest of changes can make a huge impact, it definitely did in Marci's mudroom.
