Ok, this one was CLOSE!
Snakeskin is one of those trends that you either get it or you don't. Me, being terrified of snakes, cannot jump on this band wagon. Although, I must admit...I am kind of liking the snakeskin tray.
In the end, last week was a SLAM! (14 to 10)

This week, let's talking about mixing things up in the dining room. How do you feel about using different seating styles around the dining table?
Combining different styles adds a touch of the unexpected. It creates a comfortable, casual atmosphere that looks as if it has been designed slowly over time.

Are you a fan?
BAM or SLAM!?
BAM or SLAM!?
alright the OCD is coming out in me..SLAM!
ReplyDeleteLove it! BAM!!
ReplyDeleteI love this look! BAM- BAM -BAM - I especially love that last photo and if had the space for it I would totally do that in my kitchen eating nook.
ReplyDeleteBAM! I love this look and it's easy to do.
ReplyDeleteIt's a BAM for me, but I like the combinations that still seem to have some order.
ReplyDeleteBAM BAM forever BAM. Every since Friends had the 'first apartment eclectic chic' look I've been obsessed with mixed chairs. LOVE! Good one.
ReplyDeleteBAM! I always go for the collected look, but I tend to like just the head chairs in a different style, fabric vs. every other chair.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun series! Thanks!
BAM! I love the eclectic look. I just got two upholstered end chairs for my dining room.
ReplyDeleteBAM! i also love the eclecticism of it! we had that look before and i loved it- right now i have all the same chairs but that is only because i am on the lookout for two awesome head chairs!
ReplyDeleteBam! Have it in my own house! I think this is a great way to make seating more affordable...mix high end with something less expensive.
ReplyDeleteBAM! Especially the second picture.
ReplyDeleteBAM! I love it!
ReplyDeleteBAM! love it! and if you cant handle all the chairs mismatched- I think at least having different end chairs makes a statement. Also-
ReplyDeleteI have a BAM or SLAM for you (or you maybe already did it) How about mismatched nightstands?
I am a HUGE fan of this! BAM!
ReplyDeleteBAM! BAM! BAM! I love this look, it's my absolute favourite when seats are mixed up - slipcovered chairs, wicker chairs and especially a bench!
ReplyDeleteBAM! I've always loved this look and it reminds me of fun times together with friends and family when you round up every chair you have in the house! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan - BAM! It's fun, practical, and can possibly seat more people than actually using all chairs (in the case of our current situation). I got a Windsor bench off of Craigs List and it's on one side of our table (can seat 2) but we'd only be able to sit 4 if we had another chair. I love the mixing look in the dining area.
ReplyDeleteYes, to mixed/matched chairs! Great examples, I had to pin a few!
ReplyDeleteLoving the vintage trays & bar carts!
ReplyDeleteBam for sure! I think it makes a space more inviting and looks less like a 'big box' store set. We have a bench and 3 chairs, and a craigslist table and I love them all!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I am seriously in the minority here but I don't love it at all...slam!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!! Giant BAM!! Shows character, imagination, and personality. Way better than a sterile "off the showroom" set up. FYI-all my dining chairs at home match (hypocrite??)...but I just love the look.
ReplyDeletebam-bitty-bam-da-bam-bam. not into the matchy-matchy.
ReplyDeleteMajor bam! I hate matchy matchy dining rooms
ReplyDeleteA qualified bam - I would say a max of 2 different styles. I love this series of yours
ReplyDelete!
B-A-M-!
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting at my mixed table and seating as we speak!
Catherine
BAM! BAM! And another BAM! It looks awesome and cozy....
ReplyDeleteYES YES and YES! It's a BAM in my book for sure!
ReplyDeleteBAM!
ReplyDeleteBAM! ALSO I just wanted to let you know I awarded you with The Versatile Blogger Award today over at Living Savvy!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!
Tiffany
BAM, definitely
