Designer Highlight: Dallas Lyon

Happy Thursday, the weekend is almost here. Today, I am in Vail, CO hanging out with one of my best friends. She and her family have a vacation home here, they flew in from WV last week and asked me to come visit.

I am really excited to visit with them for a few days, and to be back in Vail. After graduating from design school, I packed my bags and moved to Vail. I left in 2006, this is my first time back.

Today, I thought I would highlight a local interior designer and show off some of the beautiful design work that can be found in the area.

Dallas Lyon, is the designer behind Lyon Design Group. Their firm was voted Best in the Vail Valley 2010. The philosophy of Lyon Design Group is to "approach each project with a fresh perspective." Each design is created with the client in mind, and her designs are bold and creative.

I love how she combines modern style with rustic elements. She uses clean modern lines, but adds interest and character through the use of natural elements such as wood and stone. Ms. Lyon's puts a fresh spin on the mountain home.

Amazing Interior Design Studio

This evening I was leafing through the January/February issue of Lonny Magazine...It was incredible. It was filled with page after page of color, pattern, accessories, fashion, modern spaces, eclectic spaces....an eyeful on every page.




However, I think out of all the incredible images I saw...Bunny William's interior design studio took the cake. It is INCREDIBLE , I would kill (well not really) to have a studio space like this designated for design ...well, heck I would live there if I could. I am in love!
