Look at some of these beautiful ways to incorporate burlap into your home:
What do you think of burlap? Have you used it for projects? If so, I would love to hear how you used it and how they turned out. I am looking to add a little burlap to my home soon.

Beautiful! I love the bedskirt. I never think of using burlap!
ReplyDeleteI have a love of burlap for certain things, but I don't like the scratchy texture for things that will be against my skin. The upholstered bed is quite a regal piece.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the dining room light and the laundry bags. What a unique material I would never have thought to use inside the home.
ReplyDeleteLove the fixture and stair runner.
ReplyDeleteWill you come give me your opinion on what color to paint my furniture? PLEASE!?!?!

Love the look, not so much the smell or scratchy texture. Here is a link to my burlap covered lamp tutorial.http://chestnutsparrow.blogspot.com/2010/06/burlap-covered-lampshade-tutorial.html
ReplyDeleteI love how it looks, though I don't have a single scrap of burlap item in my home. Hmmmm, maybe that should change.
ReplyDeleteI love burlap and just used a teal piece to make a runner out of it. I'm currently having a hard a time finding the natural colored stuff though. My local fabric stores are all out!
ReplyDeleteI love the burlap artwork!
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with stairs at the moment so the stair runner would be my favorite. The bed skirt was nice too. I haven't used it for anything, but I look forward to seeing what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteOh I am a total burlap fiend! Love these choices because they are all elegant as well.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is palpitating at an unusually fast rate. Thank you for sharing this! My favorites are the burlap bed skirt, curtains and framed mats.
ReplyDeleteWe did have it when you were here, it sits next to the white slip covered chair. In your defense it was dark when you visited and we had a Christmas tree that was awfully distracting!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! So visually interesting. I am so tempted to find a place for burlap in my home.
ReplyDeleteI love burlap! I have done a bunch of stuff with it recently in my home.
ReplyDeleteVisiting you from better after. Love your bedroom redo! I think it may be the same color my master is painted as well! Now if I can get to decorating it and have it look half as good as yours I will be happy :)
I love each and every one of these images; I haven't been able to work burlap into a project yet, but have some scraps in my fabric pile that are dying to come out!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love all this burlap inspiration! Who knew you could use it so many ways! :)
ReplyDeleteI love all this burlap, but my favorite might be the laundry bag/sorters and the napkin rings!
ReplyDeleteI Love it all! I just made two valences in my kitchen out of black burlap and am in the middle of figuring out how to make a third awning type thingy for over the sink out of the same burlap. Funny enough, my husband picked the fabric!
